Hello.
In 1956, the inhabitants of Poznań told the communist government "enough!" And flocked to the city streets. They were mainly workers from the "big" Poznan factories (there were such at that time - Stalin's Works - Hipolit Cegielski Poznań even), but also students, researchers (!), And almost everyone who wanted and who could - all in all on the square of Józef Stalin (today's A. Mickiewicz Square), over 100,000 Poznań residents and Wielkopolska gathered!
They shouted there not only "we want bread and freedom", but also "away with the red bourgeoisie", or even "away from the Russian", and even "we want God", but it cut the security agency completely!
A "People's Authority" (the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the PZPR / Poland), was then Edward Ochab, and the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU / Russia / a Nikita Khrushchev - as a reminder!), Reacted in her own way - she sent to Poznan streets " Polish army ", commanded by General Stanisław Popławski, a native of the Red Army!
There were 9983 soldiers, 359 tanks, 31 armored units, 36 armored personnel carriers, 6 anti-aircraft guns, 880 cars, 68 (!) Motorcycles - as for defenseless total "insurgents" (250 firearms gained in the Custody or at universities!) - enough for "people's power"?
And the result was tragic - 57 dead, several hundred wounded, thousands detained - and all those "killed, wounded and detained", plus their families, and even friends, were persecuted (UB and SB!) For the next decades of "rule of the people's power"!
It is necessary to remember here the words of the then prime minister of the "Polish government", Józef Cyrankiewicz, who the next day, in a radio speech (for young people - television or the Internet, it really was not there!):
"Any provocateur or madman who dares to raise his hand against the people's power, let him be sure that this hand will be taken away from him by the folk power!"
And "chopped off"!
The "Poznan Uprising" boasted in Polish history - it was the first "uprising in the PRL" (later there were others - March 68, December 70, June 76) - which led to the "Solidarity Uprising" in 1980!
And if you do not look at all this (Round Table, Magdalenka, Wałęsa, Jaruzelski, re-governing "Czerwonych" or "Unia Wolności", "nocna zmiana" / Donald Tusk - "Gentlemen, let's count voices" /, governments of the Platform, still for eggs called "Obywatelska!"), it was "Solidarity" that led to the collapse of communist rule in Poland, but not only - freedom gained almost half of Europe (from Estonia to the Balkans and Bulgaria), plus "Soviet" Asian countries, and even "Germany from the GDR" !
So - again (Wiktoria Wiedeńska 1683, Miracle on the Vistula 1920!), Europe gained freedom thanks to Poland!
But let's get back to Poznań.
Today we have
2019, on the anniversary of these historical events on Mickiewicz
Square, several hundred Poznanians are gathered, mainly "functional",
and celebrations (except for wreaths under the monuments of "June
events - these are permanent and OK!), They are somehow as bland (as
they say "modern women" - "without eggs"!), and
enthusiasm there less than during the snail or turtle race!
Nobody, of course, requires that during each anniversary (and 63 years have passed!), There were 100,000 people gathered there again, but nevertheless - Poznań did something!
Maybe it is the fault of his present, and not only the authorities?
The inhabitants of Poznań from the beginning of "independence" (1989!), Chose a bit strange, although in the first, in 1989, they went boldly - all possible parliamentary seats won Solidarność (though in the Senate / the only one in Poland!), One lost), but later it was clear - they only won here "reds" or "pinks" (when they win the "rainbow"?), and the presidents of the city (Kaczmarek, Grobelny, Jaśkowiak) were associated either with the Union of Freedom, or with its "pogrobowiec" , Platform, still for eggs called Civic.
Today in Poznan is ruled by "platformers" Jacek Jaśkowiak (second term won in the first round!), Which mouth has the slogans of "freedom and equality of all", and is really a declared enemy of the ruling Law and Justice (it's fascists!), And a supporter "LGBT and Q options", which clearly stems from all its "presidential actions"!
Even today (well though he was there!), Speaking at the "anniversary of June", though he was saying all the time about the "testament of Poznan June 1956", he could not refrain from "ideological clues", the truth that well hidden:
"Because we all want to live and develop in an independent country - free of ideological domination and devastating worldview conflicts."
Actually - beautiful words (Platform likes it, though it already does sides!), But so what?
Because the same "president" screams at "spontaneous gatherings in defense of the Constitution" that "this government will spill blood" that "PiS is fascists" and blames the president of Gdańsk Adamowicz for blaming PiS and Jaroslaw Kaczynski - "Bo Paweł Adamowicz he was a victim of Goebbels propaganda methods "(this is an interview for La Republic!), it's hard to believe in his" good intentions "!
Coming back to "Poznaniaków" - already the choice in 1993 of the "Gawronik's cinkerist for the senator" (he gained over 100,000 votes, but not "those from Stalin's Square", he was saying?), The inhabitants of Poznań are "lost"!
In 1956, "spontaneously and armedly" protested "against communions," and in 2019 they elected Comrade Leszek Miller (former secretary of the Central Committee of PZPR!), For "MEP" - how can it be explained?
Surely Poznań "Wielkopolska Insurgents" (those from 1918 too!), They are falling in graves, but - this is how it is today!
You can add here that "weak Poznan PiS" (for years there is nothing that can be done here decently!), He also applied to it, but nevertheless - are the inhabitants of Poznan really a refuge of "Polish red and pink levies"?
For today it looks like that, but yes - Poznanians dear, wake up!
You really do not have to be ashamed of "supporting PiS" (play GW-na propaganda, the worst thing that happened to us after getting "independence"!), After all PiS is the only Polish party that is "for the Poles"!
And by the way - how many of you take 500+, 300+, 13th retirement, zero VAT to 26 years, minimum salary (including "in an hour"), or whatever else - while voting for the Platform, still for eggs called Civic who did not give you "nothing ever"?
Exactly - such a report would be interesting!
But we will not get to know it because the "European RODO" of this (I think?), Forbids.
But the fact is a fact - Poznanians have lost their spirit!
I wonder if the appeal - Poznanians, wake up - will do something good?
